Gift in Kind​

Gifts of Materials or Expertise to Support Home Builds​

In addition to monetary partnerships, “gift-in-kind” contributions of services, materials or supplies, in keeping with Habitat’s construction standards, will assist in fulfilling our mission. Specific guidelines for materials are available. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, gifts to Habitat for Humanity are deductible for Federal income tax purposes. A Legacy to Continue Your Impact After Your Lifetime

Habitat Greenville would be grateful to be included in your estate planning. Your planned gift will benefit Habitat’s housing ministry beyond your lifetime—moving us ever closer to the ultimate goal of every person in our community having a decent place to live.

A gift or legacy left in your will or living trust, typically personal property or assets. To create a bequest, please using the following language: “I, [name], of [city, state, ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose.”

An agreement in which you transfer cash or other assets to Habitat Greenville in exchange for its promise to pay you an annuity for life.
