Step One: Review the Builds

Review our current builds and see if the neighborhood and homes might be right for you.

Step Two: Eligibility Criteria

Please review the program qualifications. To be eligible for the Homeownership program, applicants must have a housing need and actively participate in the Habitat program. They must have lived and/or worked in Greenville or Laurens County for at least one year, be US citizens or permanent residents, and will have the ability to afford a Habitat mortgage.

Financial Requirements

* To purchase a Habitat home, applicants must be under 80% of the Area Median Income. The chart below shows the maximum 2025 income limits based on household size:

  • 1-person household: $54,488
  • 2-person household: $62,272
  • 3-person household: $70,056
  • 4-person household: $77,840
  • 5-person household: $84,067

Step Three: Eligibility Form

Once you submit your Program Eligibility Form, you will receive an email either inviting you to apply for the program or providing reasons why you do not qualify. Please allow a few weeks to hear from us.
