Just over a mile from downtown Greenville, between Laurens Road and Nicholtown Road near the southwest ridge of Cleveland Park, the eastern side of Nicholtown overlooks the Reedy River. The neighborhood dates back to 1849, when Elisha Green left part of his plantation to his daughter. Over the next 30 years, the land was divided and sold to pay debts, and by the 1870s, nine Black families had settled the area now known as Nicholtown.
The Heritage Hills neighborhood spans 5 acres on Webster Road and will bring 29 homes to Nicholtown. These homes will allow another generation of young children to grow up in the neighborhood that has shaped generations of Greenvillians.
Heritage Hills homes include three- and four-bedroom layouts with two bathrooms per unit, as well as an outdoor green space and dedicated parking. These homes will be Energy Star® and Indoor Air Plus certified, and feature all electric appliances. Located in the Greenville County Public School District, Heritage Hills homes are close to local transit and businesses on S. Pleasantburg Drive and Laurens Road.
Nearby schools include Charis Language Immersion Academy, East North Street Academy Elementary, Mitchell Road Elementary, Charles Townes Center for the Gifted and Talented, Sterling Middle, Beck International Academy Middle, Veritas Preparatory, and J L Mann High Academy.
