Various volunteer opportunities are offered for individuals and groups. Please look over the individual volunteer position descriptions and group volunteer opportunities and consider which appeal to you. Then click on the link below to sign up. If you are a first time volunteer, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator below before signing up.

Please note that ReStore volunteers must provide an adult waiver form (if 18 or older) or a minor waiver form (with parent’s signature, for 16-17 year-olds). This can be brought to your first volunteer day or emailed in advance to jlathrop@habitatgreenville.org

Office Support

These volunteers are vital to our work. They perform tasks such as maintaining volunteer information and helping organize events. Give us a call, and put your skills to work for families in need.
Office Support
Office volunteers perform a wide range of administrative tasks in support of Habitat’s business operations. Duties may include filing, answering phones, preparing mailings, data entry, or organizing material for a scheduled event.
Volunteers work with agency departments to plan, promote and execute fundraising and community special events. Tasks include serving on planning committees, handling registration, pre-event set up/post event clean-up, and clerical support.
Youth age 16 and above are welcome on the construction site, in the ReStores or at any volunteer activity. If you’re younger, you or your group can still help. Here are some ideas:

  • Start a snack and water drive at your school, church, club or organization. Collect bottled water and snacks such as granola bars, pretzels, fruit snacks and crackers to help volunteers stay energized and hydrated.
  • Instead of birthday gifts, ask each guest at your party to make a donation to Habitat.
  • Create something for our new homeowners! Your group could create a gift basket for a new homeowner family and present it at their home dedication ceremony. We can help with ideas for the gift basket.
  • Check out other ideas for youth projects and how youth can be involved with Habitat’s mission at www.habitat.org/youthprograms.

If your group would like to work on a project, contact Jennifer Lathrop, Volunteer Manager, at jlathrop@habitatgreenville.org.
